In a USA Today article this week, Aaron Dalton of Forbes Traveler gave two thumbs up for fractional private jets. With more luxury consumers living by the mantra “time is money,” fractional jets have become a viable and justifiable option to save both time and money.

As explained by Dalton, private jets are the perfect travel option when budget isn’t an issue and time is of the essence. But this type of exorbitant spending is rarely looked favorably upon, and most people don’t have millions to spare. Now with a growing market of fractional ownership jets, private jets are becoming more available and a smart choice for businesses – especially if senior executives are already spending thousands on first class tickets.

Buying a piece of a plane is not only more affordable, but also allows corporations to “gain tax advantages from the asset’s depreciation.” Additionally, with private jets, executives waste less time waiting and more time working, meaning the corporation is saving money.
