Hitting the slopes just got easier with the recent announcement of a partnership between Jets.com and Ski.com. The partnership enables travelers to charter a private jet to the world’s top mountain destinations.

Ski.com clients now can book a private jet that meets their individual needs with the Jets.com online booking system. Likewise, the Jets.com clientele has access to vacation services available through Ski.com.
The partnership is one of many in the luxury space this summer – for example the partnership between private jet operator OurPlane and American Express offers benefits for American Express card holders. Ultimate Resort, the second-largest destination club also announced a partnership with American Express for members to double-up on their rewards points.
Flying Privately
Private jet charter services are ideal among travelers leery of whole or fractional jet ownership, but the guarantees of pricing or availability are significantly less reliable. While charter flights can potentially be the least expensive option when flying privately, you should still ask for pricing specifics. See Helium Report’s Decision Guide to Private Jet Travel
for a list of due diligence questions.
Private jet companies typically offer different options within the charter category. Charter cards allow travelers to establish a pre-paid debit balance that guarantees access within a specific period of time, while on-demand charter requires a traveler to bid for each trip separately.
